When I’m out jogging with my two youngest children, I need to use a double jogging stroller. There are many on the market, but here are my top five. I’ve thoroughly reviewed many double jogging strollers and figured I’d put this list together to help other new parents. Enjoy!

This double jogging stroller handles all types of terrain very well, as well as a good amount of storage space and cup holders.

Pros:

  • At under $200 it’s very good value
  • It is easy to assemble
  • It has an excellent sun shade that can protect your child from sun coming in at any angle
  • The front wheel can be locked into place or swivel
  • The storage bag underneath is quite large and divided into two sections – it seems quite sturdy
  • It allows a lot of growing room
  • There are 2 parent cup holders which are brilliant, allowing me to have a drink for both my husband and I when we go out together
  • It fits through most doors
  • It handles all kinds of terrain very well
  • It is quite lightweight, it feels easy to manoeuvre

Cons:

  • It doesn’t feel that sturdy
  • The tires could be better – they seem to puncture quite easily
  • The fact that the storage compartment is divided into two sections limits the storage space somewhat – you can’t fit a diaper bag in the storage basket due to it being in two parts

This double jogging stroller is great on all types of terrain and has brilliant suspension.

Pros:

  • It comes in multiple colors
  • The front wheel can be locked into place or swivel
  • The handlebar has 9 positions, perfect if people of different heights are going to be using it
  • The handlebar is padded, making it comfortable to hold
  • It folds in 2 steps which is quick and easy to do (very convenient!)
  • The seat reclines with just the squeeze of a button
  • The seats have a 5 point harness to keep your children safe
  • There is lots of storage space
  • There are integrated pockets for storing snacks and drinks
  • It has a very large canopy to protect your children from the elements
  • It has a wrist strap to make it safer to use when running
  • It fits through most doors
  • It has fantastic suspension
  • It is quite lightweight

Cons:

  • It doesn’t feel like it’s as good quality as I’d expect for the price
  • The air-filled tires mean that punctures and deflating can easily occur

This double jogging stroller is lightweight and seems comfortable for children.

Pros:

  • It is very lightweight for a jogging stroller
  • It is very compact
  • At less than $200, it is good value for money
  • It is easy to fold and carry
  • The seats have mesh pockets at the sides which allow children to get their own snacks
  • There are cup holders and ample storange underneath the stroller
  • There are inbuilt MP3 speakers for childrens’ entertainment
  • The seats recline individually – which is fantastic for when one of the children wants a nap but the other doesn’t!
  • The front swivel wheel can be locked or unlocked
  • The large wheels mean manoeuvring on rough terrains is not a problem!

Cons:

  • The storage compartment underneath is separated into two compartments which limits the space somewhat
  • It doesn’t fit through a lot of doorways
  • There are no cup holders or snack trays, which is the biggest downside of this stroller for me!

This double jogging stroller can hold two car seats, or one car seat on one side.

Pros:

  • At less than $250, it is at the cheaper end of the scale for double jogger strollers
  • It can hold two car seats at once, or just one at a time
  • It has a parent console with two cup holders
  • It has a large storage basket – big enough for all the essentials
  • It is easy to put together
  • It has a five-point harness for children’s safety
  • The canopy is a good size, with a window you can see the children through
  • It feels quite light to push along and is easy to manoeuvre
  • The front swivel wheel locks and has a remote release

Cons:

  • It is big, bulky and heavy – it’s difficult for petite women like myself to lift into the trunk
  • It doesn’t fit through many doorways
  • The foot pedestal is really small
  • The way you have to adjust the seat isn’t very user friendly

This double jogging stroller is very sleek and is my favourite one based on design and color availability

Pros:

  • It has a sleek, modern design
  • It is quite lightweight
  • It is very easy to fold
  • It has a swivel front wheel that can be locked
  • The canopy is a good size
  • It has a five-point harness
  • It has an ergonomic handlebar with several positions, great for comfortable use by people of different heights
  • It seems like a smooth and comfortable ride for children
  • It’s easy to manoeuvre
  • It has a good amount of storage
  • It feels like it is sturdy and well built
  • It has large wheels so is fantastic on all terrains, even on the beach

Cons:

  • It’s expensive!
  • It’s big and is therefore difficult to put in the trunk (you can quite easily remove the wheels to help you though)
  • I feel concerned about puncturing the tires
